Can the majestic Pirlo lead Italy all the way? They have had the most shots on target in total and per game (of all teams) but have reached the last four scoring only 4 goals.

Can Ronaldo continue to improve and produce enough magic for Portgal to triumph? Of the last four, they have the least shots on target, the lowest passing accuracy and are the only one of the last four not to have 50% ball possession on average per game.

Are the Germans ready or has this tournament come round a couple of years too soon for their new team? The top scorers so far. Second best only to Spain in ball possession and passing accuracy.

Will the favourites Spain pass their way to the Championsip or will their lack of a top quality striker eventually cost them dear? Surprisingly perhaps, the best defence, only one goal conceded; but they are the most accurate passers, have the most ball possession and the second most shots on target.

I hope the winners of the Germany and Italy Semi win it, those 2 have been the better teams. Shame thats not the final. I think Germany will have too much for Italy after the Italians played 120 mins and the German side is young.

Was very impressed with Italy though.
