Oh dear Steven Naismith

Recommended Posts

He's not done himself any favours by saying what he did has he? I am very disappointed in what he said yesterday, he could have handled this so much better and at least think about Rangers just a little bit more than what he has.

He could have pandered, fed us more PR generated bullshit to appease the support, that's what it seems like you are saying. Instead he told us what he thinks and feels and he get's called an enemy of the club for it.

We demand the truth, when we get it we complain it isn't our version of the truth.

That's a bizarre statement. You don't get to prescribe how other Rangers fans think, that's arrogant in the extreme. People will have differing views from you, they might be incorrect, but to describe them as 'enemies' is disgraceful. Get over yourself.

I have no interest in pacifying people without any stomach for a fight.

I'm assuming you're on the side of 'new club, no history' then?

I like to hear players speaking openly, even if I don't always like what I hear. He's one of the few players to have said anything in this whole debacle, I've no axe to grind with him for his viewpoint.

His view point is wrong and damaging for our club .

Also hands the enemys of our club another stick to beat us with .

Rangers will always be Rangers to most fans, it doesn't look like it to Naismith and Whittaker and others on what they saying and doing with this no history rubbish. We have no money and they decide to walk away free when they could've helped, that's not much of a true supporter in my eyes sorry. It's not like they haven't been paid handsomely while being at our great club in the past and when being out injured for long periods and that goes for both of them. If they can't do this to help the club they say they love when IMO they could easily do and still leave to go on to another club, they are not much of a true supporter to me.

I won't hate them but I have lost some respect for them after yesterday.

I don't care, we stuck by him when he was injured for about two years, fans took him to their hearts, fans paid is wages.

He's repaid by telling us our club is dead.

Yeah, this loyalty card we're playing with Naismith is hypocritical. We took him to our hearts because he's an exceptional player. We'd no option but to stick by him through his injuries. Had he come back a carthorse a large section of our support would have wanted him sold instantly.

He's told us his view on our club, his view is informed by his experiences, I don't understand why we're not anxious to ask him why he's arrived at them instead of calling him all the cunts in the world for holding them.

In the league table of people who have damaged our club Naismith isn't even in the top 50.
