Duff and Phelps statement

Guess I was hoping for gunsligner, casey or someone that is on RM to pick up on it. :D

As it goes I still don't think there's any conspiracy or that they've actually done us any harm (Murray and Whyte did all the damage) but their competence does look a bit doubtful.

They also seem to have been stringing us along about the HMRC being keen on accepting the CVA, which HMRC say they don't accept on their own website.

Then again, if that's not enough to convince you of their unreliability, it was CW that wanted them appointed as admins and even went to court to stop HMRC appointing their own choice. Something fishy in that alone, IMO.

The revenue told them they would consider it, not their fault as that's probably policy as well, but them being overly optimistic isn't a big deal to me, CVA had to be tried.

The courts had to approve their appointment, so they can't have felt there was anything wrong and didn't HMRC eventually withdraw their application? Whyte feeling he was better off appointing administrators rather than the revenue doesn't mean they're best pals or anything.

Well STB, that's probably what we'll find out in this report. Did HMRC actually say they may consider a CVA. Just because D&P said it, doesn't mean it's true, does it?
