Does anyone on here really thinks that the clubs let their supporters decide on this? That is a shield to hide their own interests, nothing more and nothing less. Obviously, it would be a very interesting case ... let the people decide whether a football club exists or does not. Essentially, all we need is the oldco staying there for a wee while longer - it still has the membership, right? - and simply keep playing football. The newco can loan Ibrox et al to them for the time being, while we steady the ship. If 23 clubs voted the likes of Elgin City, Peterhead and Annan Athletic into the sfl then why would they not vote Rangers in? Im certainly not taking it for granted that we will be voted in , there's a pattern of the worst possible outcome on everything Rangers at the moment . If that is the case, Northern Ireland is the next port of call, as the English won't want us. But before anything else, we should challenge any SPL and SFL ruling in the courts. 54andcounting 0 Posted June 25, 2012 Share Posted June 25, 2012 Okay...There seems to be a feeling that football is run by bitter catholics in this country, that is NOT the case and if you think that then god help you. We have been kicked out of the SPL for football reasons which are septic have a free run at our world record - the rest have a better chance at European football. The SFL next season was a certainty for us as soon as we became a 'newco' the chance of dropping into the 1st division was never going to happen due to football reasons We will be playing our football in the 3rd division next season. We won't be a club who have been snubbed by the whole of Scotland, that's just ridiculous. How would that look to the rest of the world?
