Guest bobby
As reported on espn soccernet today Allan Smith of Man Un could be going on loan to Cardiff City if terms can be arranged What do you think of him coming to us on loan maybe the bit of backbone we badly need

stewarty 2,010
Not sure he's enough of a goalscorer although I'm sure he could do a job
Beattie 0
Won't happen. Although he's the type of player we need, someone with a bid of fight about him.
nokiss 0
Not sure he's enough of a goalscorer although I'm sure he could do a job I think he'd maybe get a few Stewarty. I think he'd be a great foil for Boydy. A bit no nonsense in your face attitude from Smithy is just what we need at the moment.
stewarty 2,010
Perhaps your right nokiss. Anyone know if he's had any Champions League time this season?
pete 2,499
Swap him for Buffel, Id rather have a bit of bite than a bit of shite.
Beattie 0
Perhaps your right nokiss. Anyone know if he's had any Champions League time this season? He played the last 5 minutes in Benfica and the last half hour at home to Copenhagen.
CammyF 8,027
Can he play centre-half or left / right back... Cammy F
Beattie 0
Not just saying this, but I genuinely believe he'd be as good a centre half as we've got. When he's been deployed in the Roy Keane-esque defensive midfield role at Man Utd, his tackling, intercepting etc. have all been top drawer. He's a good passr of the ball, and even though not the tallest, great in the air.
