54andcounting 0
Charles Green comes across as a decent honest sincere bloke...well to me anyway.
forlanssister 3,114
Can anybody explain why King didn't go in the night of the long knives with the rest of them? Was it because he knew what Whyte was up to and was waiting rubbing his hands with glee on getting Rangers for a song. I think it was because of a condition in his original share purchase agreement that entitled him to a seat on the board, Whyte tried to sack him but made an arse of it. Weird why Duff & Phelps have taken no action to remove Whyte from the board eh?

They haven't taken any official action to remove Ellis as a director either have they?
forlanssister 3,114
What's the point there is no board. Then that begs the question, what's the purpose of their action against King other than vindictiveness and spite?

I thought Whyte was removed from the board when the SFA banned him from Scottish football ?
forlanssister 3,114
I thought Whyte was removed from the board when the SFA banned him from Scottish football ? He's still officially Chairman (even if merely technically) is he not?
TheWeeBlueDevil 0
He's still officially Chairman (even if merely technically) is he not? I dont know, seems crazy that he would remain as Chairman or on the board after being banned for life .

I take it they are getting rid of that clause you talk about, I wouldn't want him on the board after the last couple of days. Did Green not say no shareholder will be on the board?

Did Green not say no shareholder will be on the board? Green says plenty but consistency doesn't seem to be his forte!
