Charles Green Statement

Recommended Posts

The sfa stated in court that expulsion or suspension were too severe, we already have the maximum fine allowed. They also stated expulsion from the scottish cup was too lenient, but how about a 3 or 4 year ban.

With nothing now available to them in between a SC ban and suspension or expulsion, that statement might not be of much relevance now.

If the sanctions available against a murderer are Community Service or the death penalty, where does one go? I wouldn't want to be one of those being made to choose our fate.

No doubt Regan will have his people ready who are biting at the bit to make that decision. Hopefully they don't ruin Scottish football just to win a point though.

Whatever way the decision goes, it will be argued that Scottish football has been ruined.

Rangers will be in debt to Sevco, not 'ourselves'.

Murray bought us with 6M bank loan, Mini would have had 10M ticketus debt. We owe Sevco 8.2M but no btc, stc, 18M Loyds, 24M ticketus or even £1 debt to the shyster, good deal IMHO.

PM had thrown Ticketus out but it remains to be seen what/if Kennedy would have been owed anything.

Good deal or not, Green has said the club would be debt free and that wasn't strictly true. Unfortunately, as much as most of us want to believe he's the real deal, it's inconsistencies like that which make people suspicious.

The guy or may not be the next owner but either way our support are entitled to ask certain questions given the annual investment (on top of any share issue) that we offer every season.

That goes for any new owner.

Frankie do you see an end to this anytime soon, I'm asking because you have more contacts than most of us. You have talked of 4 bidders but we are running out of time.

I really don't know mate.

All four bidders are still involved (Green, Ng, TBK/Kennedy, AN Other) but it seems all (except Green obviously) are maintaining a watching brief so they can re-launch their bid should the CVA proposal fail for whatever reason (rejection or lack of funding).

Time is an issue but I think a CVA could still happen if the Green bid fails. Perhaps a newco asset sale is more likely and despite D&P suggestion that Green would have first option there, I think the other bidders are confident they'll be invited to bid again. Hence the stand-off as essentially none of these people think Green will complete.

Meanwhile, the rest of us have literally no idea where to turn as the club is lambasted from one day to the next.
