GovanAllan 0
Been a good game so far, England crying out for Walcott and his pace would get him on for Milner.

GovanAllan 0
Wonder if it will be England Anti-Football or battling defensive performance.

BrahimHemdani 1
Well beaten, Italy gave them a lesson. I don't think they would have beaten Germany and if they had the Final would have been embarrassing.
andy steel 0
England need to be careful they don't turn into us - applauding their players for trying hard. Realism is all very well, but it can easily slip into acceptance of mediocrity. Reckon they're at a crossroads; change styles to improve passing or become Southern Jocks. Might post that on MoTD's Fb page. They should enjoy the comparison.

Might post that on MoTD's Fb page. They should enjoy the comparison. Add some statistics to prove your case: Only Ireland (in 3 matches) had less possession of the ball than England (in 4 matches). Poland, Croatia, Sweden, Denmark and the Ukraine had more possession of the ball in 3 matches than England had in 4. 10 teams passed the ball with greater accuracy than England. Only 3 teams had less attempts on target per game: Ireland, Greece and the Ukraine. http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro/season=2012/statistics/round=15172/teams/type=possession/index.html etc Basically they are crap.
Guest ayrshireranger
Pirlo....what a player, what a penalty. Rooney.....what a flop...........again. Justice done. English win would have been a travesty.
BrahimHemdani 1
Pirlo....what a player, what a penalty. Not good enough for AC Milan apparently after 10 years at age 32 and snapped up by Juventus last season who promptly won the title unbeaten with Pirlo starting 37 games. Was there a fitter player on the pitch tonight?
Gribz 837
The most one-sided 0-0 games Ive ever seen. Italy absolutely battered them and justice was done. England go on about Scholes but Pirlo gave a master class last night. The worst thing is the history books reflect a draw in 90 and 120 mins when Italy deserved to win by about 5. Shame for Ash Cole though.......haha
