Ibrox club face being booted out of the game or the cup as SFA accept court ruling

Recommended Posts

Cup ban considered not enough, termination considered too harsh.

Sorry mate I thought they said both were too harsh, funny who the cup ban will probably impact on them more than it will us.

Fine then give us a 1 year cup ban and suspend the embargo for 2 years, one late payment and we get slapped with it, at least it keep Green honest in the transfer market.

We all know how they like to suspend penalties TLB has enough to build a bridge by now.

I'm positive when questioned on the embargo they said the other two didn't fit the bill.

but but but....our crimes are only slightly less serious than match fixing. I dread to think what the SFA would do if that was to happen. Hanging? Public Stoning?

I believe that we will be banned from competing in the Scottish Cup for a number of years which will infuriate the SFA's sponsors. They won't chuck us out of the game as we bring in too much money to the others clubs. I feel we have got the SFA by the short and curlys.

My understanding of the situation is that they can't include an embargo at all - they don't have the power!!!

Personally, I wasn't bothered about the transfer ban - I think it would have worked in the clubs long term favour. I think there will be a cup ban!!!

If we were banned from the Scottish cup what financial losses would we incur?,bearing in mind that if that should happen then the SFA would probably not allow us to have friendlies to compensate!.
