the wasp 0
I'd say it's a 99.9% no brainer that Murray Park will be renamed. I'm just wondering why it's taking so long to get it done.?

the gunslinger 3,366
can we afford new signs?
alexscottislegend 2,430
Well it certainly can't be Green Park. How about the Rangers Training Academy or named after Wilton and Struth. The Wilton Struth Academy?
caseyjones 0
If only it was an academy, it's a training complex, nothing more.
kuznetsov 0
If only it was an academy, it's a training complex, nothing more. We have had our fair share of graduates from Auchenhowie. Plenty in fact.
caseyjones 0
We have had our fair share of graduates from Auchenhowie. Plenty in fact. We've brought through less than when when training elsewhere. That could be down to the management or the society we now live in, but we could, and should, have set our sights a lot higher than we did. GovanAllan 0
Has produced a fair amount of good footballers just a pity we either sell the really good ones or the rest just don't step up when their asked. Could be worse, it could be Lennoxtown, the son of a friend has just signed for Celtic, he has been made go to a Catholic school in Kirkintilloch after morning training. So it would seem they really do train the body and mind at Celtic.
Darthter 542
We've brought through less than when when training elsewhere. That could be down to the management or the society we now live in, but we could, and should, have set our sights a lot higher than we did. I put that down to the pressure of the current game. Managers and supporters (especially of the OF) demand instant success. As a result, there appears to be a reluctance to give the youngsters a chance. The majority of youngsters that have had their chance in the Rangers 1st team recently, have got that chance through necessity ie. injury problems, rather than choice. I believe that needs to change. There are currently a number of very promising young players on the verge of regular 1st team action....this is the season to give them their chance based on merit, rather than necessity!!!
