Besiktas, Bursaspor and Gaziantepspor banned from Europe !

Recommended Posts

I know it's not Rangers related,but...........

UEFA have today handed a 1 year ban to the three clubs due to financial problems.

It looks like Karabukspor and Eskisehirspor will take the place of Bursaspor and Besiktas in Europe. Bursaspor have been handed a ban due to unpaid transfers of players, while Besiktas are in big problems financially.

Turkish Football was rocked by the match fixing problems last season where Fenerbahce were kicked out of Europe and replaced by Trabzonspor. This is another blow which darkens the name of Turkish Football.

Besiktas' debt is estimated at 200 million euros!

All the more reason for them coming to Ibrox for a friendly.

They need the money.

Euro's looking good from our perspective.

We don't have too may dates lined up with Euro models.

It's about time we could get some decent kebabs at Ibrox.

Win/win all round.

Just not over there.

Sod that! There's plenty of big teams who haven't just been banned by UEFA who we can set up friendlies with.
