Lafferty in talks with Huddersfield Town

Recommended Posts

Lifted from FF

My cousin is a scout for Huddersfield, and some will know I've posted bits of info about them before.

He mentioned last week that they were interested in Lafferty, and today that has stepped up given they were promoted on Saturday.

Apparently he has a £575k release fee that takes effect from 01/06 and he has no interest in renegotiating that.

I'm not particularly fussed if he goes, but we really need to get this registration ban sorted out. If other players leave for similarly knock down fees, then we could be in a huge mess.

If he leaves he leaves, lets be honest he has been another waste of money signing overall from Smith at the time. Hehas produced the goods, but not often enough and is always injured.

If he leaves then thanks for the goals, but the guy has alot of growing up to do.

we also have a 10 million pound black hole to plug.

if greens doing that that's fine but if not we must sell.

What £10m hole? D&P don't think there is one, so what makes you think there is?

Ah, our loyalty when a story about a rumoured departure kicks in is truly heartening. People like you forget that we cannot afford to lose a single player, ability irrelevant, and just decide they hate the player in question so screw Rangers.
