Given the club's finances why not have our "pre-season" at Ibrox?

I thought I'd start a thread about this after seeing a few comments about pre-season in another thread.

The players will already have had some kind of holiday, in some cases combined with away trips for their national team.

Considering the dire financial situation at the club why not just try to arrange a pre-season at home?

A bunch of reasonably attractive games at Ibrox could be a good way to raise some much needed cash.

If not needed for day to day bills, the cash raised could maybe help scout and bring in two or three talented 17/18 year olds.

To me this is so obvious and logical that doing anything else wouldn't make any sense.

Why would the club waste money on a pre-season abroad this summer given the situation it's in?

I bet we could get some top class teams to come to Ibrox because they know they'd be helping us out!
