Very true, but the SFA's choice of defence lawyer is certainly very interesting in this current situation. I wonder who recommended Aidan O'Neill QC to Regan's SFA? Not that I'm suggesting conspiracy or anything, but I doubt if the SFA could have found a lawyer who'd be less sympathetic to Rangers had they hunted the whole of the UK. Good point, but I doubt very much if his name was just drawn out of a hat or picked at random. The SFA could at least have been a bit more sensible with their choice of QC given that the case is with Rangers. I dont really agree with your final sentence. The SFA, if acting as they should when being challenged, SHOULD be looking for someone who will defend the SFA's position - it makes no difference whether their QC is anti-Rangers or not. So you are saying that even if this guy is the best, most qualified QC for the job they should have over-looked him because of his religious leanings.
