Utterly divided support

Recommended Posts

I think Guardian does make some valid points.

The Trust should be the focal point at this moment in time and the TBK should be the clear fan favourites. They're not though and that's not because of a few people with grudges, that's because their own actions have been questionable.

I think that is worth discussing (sensibly please!) and it's wrong to deflect such questions.

A bit of selective joining up there.

I said if they came up with a credible plan I would get behind them, as the club is more important to me at the moment. Despite all the manipulation by Murray in the media and through RST, and despite the RST being bought with hints at "fan-power"

I have no conflict of interest in any bid and my only concern is for the club. The RST have no such claim.

I've had a bellyful of smoke and mirrors from SDM, LBG, the old board and Craig Whyte.

TBK need to bring their plan out into the daylight but won't for some reason.

RST and the other supporters groups and the media should be asking why, but won't for some reason.

Anyone who even suggests asking such questions immediately comes under fire.

If their bid is so good for Rangers, why are they hiding it ?

They could silence the critics much easier by just giving us an outline of their plan.

from the guy who was lionising bill miller for his honesty.

tbk have outlined their plan.

getting the supporters groups on board with it was a vital part of the plan.

the fact that Miller left had nothing to do with the rst as me and Casey spent most of yesterday or Monday pointing out you can't make a profit out of rangers in a newco.

so the speculator didn't speculate.

miller was a threat to rangers that many coukdnt see through the cloud of desperation surrounding him.

pointing out clear links to Ellis and club 9 was received with vitriol.

pointing out his lack of cash was either dismissed or somehow became a good thing.

3 year euro bans were flattly denied or hailed as the best thing that could happen to us.

cuts under miller were somehow ok but weren't now for some reason.

for me the trust have done little wrong.

they didn't hound ng.

other organisations have also backed tbk. the assembly, association and vanguard bears.

if tbk get preffered bidder the rst should of course be asking questions of them the same as miller. if they don't then we can talk about favoritism.

A lot of fluff there.

Typically one line mentioning TBK's plan.

Oh and at least Miller was open and up front about his plan.

I rest my case.

The Trust should be having to fight them off at the moment, instead all I'm hearing is people leaving if that's not a damning condemnation of the path it's put itself on then I don't know what is. It's whole approach from the get go recks of power grab, when it should've been looking for what's best for the club and it's fans.

That's not answering the question.

Why are the Trust struggling for numbers and why are TBK struggling for overwhelming support?

I'd say there's one answer which applies to both questions....but I know you don't want to personalise these issues.

It's not as simple as saying MD is to blame.

In fact remove MD and you'd arguably remove even more of the Trust's influence.
