Some information on Bill Miller

Recommended Posts

In fairness I don't think there is anything particularly nasty that will actually stick ( I've seen his Peoplefinders and Integrascan files!) though just because I haven't seen it doesn't mean it hasn't happened, remember it took the BBC to reveal Whytes' ban.

I think there's a big difference between Whyte & Miller. As you've said all along, Whyte paid £1 for the club.

I think the £1 was a symbolic gesture for effect only, pretty sure no £ changed hands, no BACS transfer took place and no cheque was written or cashed. We were simply given away....:(

Whyte was presented to us as a turnaround specialist and the support in general took that at face value, despite there being no evidence other than his supposed wealth along with it's proposed distribution on our behalf and the fact he was a self proclaimed 'lifelong Rangers fan' to back up his takeover.

This time round we're a whole lot more suspicious and certain elements - in cahoots with well respected and connected businessmen - have no doubt done their fair share of digging and yet had nothing but the 'big bad newco' argument to throw at us.

Think we need to get something straight Miller is not a turnaround specialist from what I've read, he doesn't run around finding failing companies to asset strip them. He saw the industry he worked in was fragmented and failing so he started from scratch and proceeded to REBUILD that industry from the ground up. If anybody thinks that sounds like Whyte then they've been reading to much BK propaganda. The only thing Whyte has ever made is a steaming pile of shit in the morning or everytime he opens his mouth.

Americans talk a lot about their legacy and what they will be remembered for maybe just maybe Mllier wants to be remembered for saving the greatest football club in the world and if he can make some money on the way is that really a bad thing

as the saying goes beggars cant be choosers and we have no other option but to back him. he has a credible business back ground which is there for all to see, something which whyte couldnt provide from the offset.

Some Scottish fans of the popular Glasgow Rangers football club don't like the idea of a takeover of the venerable club by Chattanooga businessman Bill Miller.

There were a number of protest signs at the Rangers' match against Dundee on Wednesday.

The owner of Miller Industries in Ooltewah appears to be in line to take over the financially-troubled club.

Meanwhile, the Scottish press is trying to find out everything they can about Bill Miller.

One Scottish reporter told Chattanoogan.com that journalists there are digging into his personal life and trying to find out every tidbit.
