We dodged a bad one big time with this guy. Never a EPL player never and a total ned.

I think he's a troubled guy - and as much as I condemned his 'attack' on the guy, others are right in saying he was looking out for his friend who'd been senselessly knocked unconscious by some other foul ned.

I think personally he's a great player who just has some growing up to do.

Not for me mate, it's not just the once he has been in trouble. dfo far more tiouble than he is worth on the park.

In June 2008, Goodwillie was arrested after assaulting a man in a Stirling nightclub,[26] which resulted in a £250 fine.[27] Goodwillie was involved in a similar incident in September 2009 when he was arrested after a nightclub doorman was knocked unconscious.[28] Two months later, Goodwillie received a £200 fine for his part in the incident.[29] Dundee United manager Peter Houston placed Goodwillie under a "house arrest" scheme to avoid further trouble.[19]

In 2012, the player was convicted of assault following an incident involving fellow players John Friel and Danny Swanson at a late night takeaway in Glasgow in 2010. At Glasgow Sheriff Court on 30 April 2012 he was sentenced to a 12 month probation order and to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work.[30]

I've said before he has baggage, but I think he's the kind of guy trouble seems to follow. He has problems, no denying that, but growing up helped Rooney a lot. It helps most people. I also get the feeling he's in with a bad crowd and is easily led.

Which is the same thing Lescott says about Balotelli.
