Gribz 850
Letizi Klos Hutton Rae Sionko Martin N'Daiye Prso Boyd just to name a few maybe papac , j rod and svensson to join Letizi - Yes and replaced with Craig Gordon, but he gets a boot up the ass for that error against Celtic on sat. Klos - Yes, 30k a week means wages for 2 more players. Hutton - Only if we can bring in a really good RB as after him we have nobody due to Lowning being too raw, Ricksen not welcome back and Bardsley going back to Man U. Rae - Yes, a tryer but isnt good enough. Sionko - Absolutely no! He stays. Martin - Jury is out on him, i dont think he looks interested to be here and he hasnt played enough. Maybe leave at the end of the season. N'Daiye - Hasnt had a chance in the first team that ive seen. Id keep him. Prso - EH??? Has a 3 week break and stays. At least becomes a super sub. Boyd - Stays, but if he plays he needs a big tall string centre forward like Hateley. Papac, JRod and Svensson all stay for now.
calscot 0
Letizi - Yes and replaced with Craig Gordon, but he gets a boot up the ass for that error against Celtic on sat. But can we afford him? Must be at least 2M if not 3. I'd rather have MacGregor than Letizi though. Klos - Yes, 30k a week means wages for 2 more players. He's pretty much already gone. There's no coming back now bar injuries to the other two keepers. The wages will come in very handy. Hutton - Only if we can bring in a really good RB as after him we have nobody due to Lowning being too raw, Ricksen not welcome back and Bardsley going back to Man U. We can't aford two new right backs so I'd keep Hutton as a back up. As for Bardsley, if we're going to be a feeder club then it should only be for genuine class players - Bardsley is not that at all - not at the moment anyway. Rae - Yes, a tryer but isnt good enough. My jury is out on him but he never does enough to say "look at me, I'm worth a starting place." Sionko - Absolutely no! He stays. In the reserves, maybe. Has shown very little so far and is a pale imitation of Burke so far. Martin - Jury is out on him, i dont think he looks interested to be here and he hasnt played enough. Maybe leave at the end of the season. Not good enough all round game to be started. Possibly worth a place on the bench especially if Burke is injured. N'Daiye - Hasnt had a chance in the first team that ive seen. Id keep him. Looks mediocre in the reserves but could be a reasonable squad player on a very low wage. Prso - EH??? Has a 3 week break and stays. At least becomes a super sub. On his last legs. Fantastic player but shouldn't start a game unless he's feeling really sprightly. Agree with super sub role. Boyd - Stays, but if he plays he needs a big tall string centre forward like Hateley. Couldn't agree more. Spot on. Papac, JRod and Svensson all stay for now. Papac and Svensson should play in the reserves until they improve. JRod can go. We need two new first choice defenders who can command the box, on the floor and in the air. All three defenders have shown that they are not up to the job at the moment and are the weakest part of the team. I still find it strange that so few of our first team squad who aren't playing, get a game in the reserves.
calscot 0
PS Buffel is on the top of my list to leave especailly as we might actually get some dosh for him, although I doubt we'd get over half as much as we paid for him. Sebo has also shown that he doesn't fit into a Rangers team and at a club this big you can't take your time.

Lynds 0
How many threads are we going to have on this? Get behind the team and stop bloody moaning! This is the squad we have and there will not be whole sale changes in January its the squad we have now but its not gonna be the squad we will have at the end of the season. you think we should just keep what we have, whether working or not and just 'make do' till the summer?
calscot 0
How many threads are we going to have on this? While players being paid 10 to 30 grand a week are getting beat by players paid 1 to 3 grand a week, I can forsee loads of threads on this. Get behind the team and stop bloody moaning! Talking about solutions to out problems hardly sounds like moaning, however your post definitely sounds like a moan. Getting behind the team is for matchdays, after such a bad result I think we're entitled to indulge in some fantasy football management to ease our frustration. I think we're all behind the team, not one of us doesn't want to see every player play fantastically. However, if they are not doing the job they are paid for, week in, week out, it's natural to think we should replace them with players who will. This is the squad we have and there will not be whole sale changes in January I wouldn't count on it. It's major surgery time and everyone knows it including PLG. I don't think DM can back out of a small spending spree in January without losing the what remains of his popularity. We can easily raise the money and it seems imperative that we do. It would be a poor financial decision not to make sure we spend enough to qualify for the champions league. Debt is not a necessarily a bad thing. Big debt like we had before is very bad indeed, but we can easily cope with 10M worth of debt as long as it is managed properly and repaid as much as possible when we have excess funds.
