It will be a test of his lawyers as his family have just had a new house bought for them in preparation for his signature. ;)

 

I heard that as well. 100k house, not sure where though. Apparantly deeds will be transferred into his name when he turns 18.

The Fleck issue aside, this debate does thro up an interesting point. Since Rangers do not 'own' any of the Youth players, as they are contracted to RYD and not RFC, what is stopping RYD selling players like Fleck to the highest bidder and not RFC?

Me confused? RYD is owned by Rangers and is a separate entity to ensure that funds are ring-fenced by the club so that money for youth development is not spent on transfer fees or other areas of the club. Surely it would not make sense for RYD or Rangers to allow a situation where our best players are offloaded to the highest bidder
