He sets us up to draw nil-nil. One nil down, so what does he do? Ten at the back so they don't score two! Yes, it usually falls apart for Eck after a while and he moves on, but his first season or two at a new club usually starts very well indeed. So I was certain Villa would have a solid season. McLeish is an awful manager who can't seem to sign players suited to his system (whatever system that may be). If Villa go down he wont be allowed back near the city of Birmingham bar the Hawthorns. They really are dire to watch and they still have 3 tough games. West Brom away this weekend, they would love to put their neighbours in deeper trouble. Yet Villa's defenders on paper are quality. I think 2 from Collins, Dunne and Cuellar should be on par with most defensive partnerships in the top half of the league and Given is easily one of the best keepers, yet some of the goals they have leaked have been shocking. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
