Playing devil's advocate, Posh Deli might have their facts slightly wrong. Looks like a Gers fan had a charity night in aid of RFFF. However, if they collected, say 10,000 they could donate 5,000 to RFFF and use the other 5,000 for paying some small creditors. RFFF then wouldnt be in any breach as they only received the 5,000 - how those organising distribute the funds will be their concern - however, you would be right if all the proceeds went to RFFF and then RFFF paid this small creditor.
