Bill Ng - The Lifelong Bluenose.

Recommended Posts

When he first came into the game, Ng

admitted he knew little about football.

â??I came into football because I was

influenced by the love my two sons have

for the sport and I have to admit Iâ??m not a

football man, he said.

â??When I came in, I didnâ??t even know

what the offside rule was and my sons had

to teach me.

Some people's lifes are not measured like we do this, you know?! Like finding to Buddha or the like. Or a new wife (husband), getting a child and whatnot. And each time a new life begins ...

Obviously, I do not read too much into any such comments. We hardly have a clue what he actually said in the first place with regards to the 72 finale and Greig lifting the trophy. And I for one do not care. If he takes Rangers over and gets them on track again, he could collect shoes for his 3 wifes or sing Samoan warsongs ...

I thought we all agreed the 'life long fan' thing was a badly-worded PR thing? However the rest of it seems fair enough. Rangers IS a business and he may be able to get us back on an even keel.

I'm sorry, but it wasn't badly worded PR, it was complete bollocks, the same sort of bollocks we heard from Motherwell Bear. There is no need for it, and as similar was repeated in Frankie's Twitter Q&A, plus a couple of press articles, it can't be dismissed as a one-off moment of Bartram-style 'lost in translation'.

He shouldn't beat himself up too much about the offside rule after all there was an assistant referee at Hampden on Sunday who didn't know it either....:D
