Personally I think that all sounds rather harsh. I've felt he's been rather open all the way through the process, about his position.

Open about what?

He says he will bid, then pulls away. Comes back and says he will bid, then falls back. The only thing he is doing is getting press.

He put in a bid which wasn't even good enough to get by the first stage. If he wanted to own us he should have upped it and added it to the four who put in 'best bids' by the given deadline, or joined TBK who he was championing. He did neither and instead sought to muddy the waters by threatening to come in with a late offer.

He hasn't 'threatened' anything lol. You don't 'threaten' to put in an offer. He said all along he would bid rather than see Rangers become NewCo. I thought he DID bid, but it was rejected. Last I checked there was no legal obligation for him to bid again. At least he didn't bid pie in the sky like the BK's.

To play devil's advocate....

So we would rather Kennedy put in a "realistic" bid to pay off the creditors (including, presumably, Ticketus), but we dont like Ticketus. Should Kennedy, if bidding, not be trying to put in a bid which allows him to get the club as cheaply as possible, saving his powder (cash) for AFTER purchasing the club.

What if the bidders all decided that they would simply blow all their cash on buying the club with nothing left over for investment. Would we still not be in perilous state if that were the case ?

A businessman will always try to get the best deal they can, and I see no wrong in that, especially if by doing so it saves money which can then be invested in the club post-takeover.

So in essence, to have him lingering about with the intent to save us from liquidation (and himself from the wrath of his Rangers-daft wife) can't be that bad?!

But in doing so is disrupting the remaining two bidders from making a move?

Not sure about that. As long as he's not on the table, he's no threat. IMHO, much of what is being made of him possibly having a disruptive influence or someone looking with "intent" is probably ill-meant/story-driven media stuff.
