Closer To Clarity, But Plenty Of Work Still To Do At Rangers.

If a bidder pays £500,000 for exclusivity, that money comes off the amount to be paid by the bidder.

Whether this is true or not I've no idea.

That's apparently not the case.

The money would not be going to D&P. It would ultimately be the club's cash.

Bidders aren't convinced that would be the case but I'd hope there was some sort of contract involved to assure it.

I can't see any way that D&P would be allowed to just pocket the fee. It's extremely unethical. Perhaps it would be deducted from the fees that they are owed but there's no other way that it would be allowed.

I'd hope what you say is correct.

Ot would be unethical to ridiculous proportions. And, if true, they would more than likely be reprimanded from the insolvency governing body. I simply cannot believe that it would be pocketed by D& themselves.

The bigger probability is as BD suggested, it would be deducted from the final fee in the event that the party paying it win the bid for the club. If they didnt win the bid then it being non-refundable should go towards the D&P fees which will ultimately need to be paid and that, in essence, makes it the clubs money.
