Also makes sense to do so whilst every Spanish side except Real Madrid also owes a 'tax authority' substantial funds as well. Unless UEFA are gonna refuse Barca, Valencia, Villareal, Seville and co. a club licence as well.

David Hillier has jsut tweeted the fact we have applied for a Euro license indicates that we won't be liquidated. There's logic there. I'd guess that some of the bidders have asked them to do this on their behalf

As you say Bears if you stand back and look at the big picture lot of positive news on the buyers, creditors meeting on Friday and now the Euro License looks to me like things are coming to a head.
