Lifted from FF:

Tomorrow's media will have some details of the deal negotiated between by Paul Murray and Ticketus on behalf of the Blue Knights.

It will be incredibly good news for Rangers.

It will reduce the debt owed by the club incredibly - far beyond what I personally thought to be possible.

It will remove the threat of legal action by Ticketus against RFC - they will be free to pursue whoever else they think fit.

It will open the way to the option for the Blue Knights to purchase the club via a CVA and hence avoid liquidation.

I put this in another thread.

Maybe they are going after CW for their money?.

I think even the anti-Blue knights might just however grudgingly concede that it is indeed a very good deal.

Lets hope so. I'm still on the fence, the Singapore bid does seem a bit too good to be true. Yet the fact it comes from Singapore gives it a lot of credibility in my view.

It looks to me as they've been sitting waiting to get into football for a while and Rangers and our awful situation gives them the chance to do so.

But the fact PM said the other bidders are going down the liquidation road only to have a custard pie thrown in his face tonight shows him up to be a liar in my view, or someone that will bend the truth to get what he wants, which i realise happens in business, like CW did.

The thing is nobody knows yet who would be the best to take over the Rangers, unless of course they have inside info?. There is still way too much muddy waters for me to back any one of the potential buyers.

Tell us what it is instead of posturing

I'm not posturing.

Whether we like it or not they can block a CVA barring an absolutely horrendous result in the FTT.

They're claiming they're owed circa £27m (though I share the opinion of others that any claim may fail in the courts but the fact is we wouldn't exist long enough to defend that claim) that has to be dealt with one way or another.
