Royâ??s bid is in for Naisy

Recommended Posts

I am afraid I agree with you both. I also think we will be put into liquidation or the Ticketus deal will be forced on us. The only thing that stops me thinking about liquidation is the Ticketus deal as it won't suit them at all. Getting rid of Kennedy, possibly the fans favourites, fits in with the Whyte administrators and Ticketus friendship. I still keep smelling a rat somewhere.

We still haven't heard the last of CW yet!.

Rangers boss Ally McCoist admits he is the dark over reports that West Brom have bid for Steven Naismith.

A number of Rangers players have been linked with moves away from Ibrox in the wake of the club's move into administration.

West Brom chief Roy Hodgson played down talk of a move for Naismith on Friday and McCoist admits he would be surprised if there had been a bid lodged for the Scotland international without his knowledge.

"Not to my knowledge," McCoist said of reports of West Brom's bid for Naismith. "To be fair to the administrators, they keep me up to speed with everything. So I would be very surprised if there has been a £2million bid in and I don't know about it."

Worrying

The club's financial troubles could mean an exodus of star players in the summer and McCoist admitted: "It's worrying if you lose the players, of course it is.

"But the players have been fantastic throughout the whole administration period. They have shown a wonderful unity with each other and, more importantly, with the staff at the football club.

"As their manager, I don't want them going anywhere at all.

"They have obviously stated their desire to play for the club and a lot of them have said how much the club means to them, like it does to us all.

"I'm sitting here very hopeful that nobody goes anywhere."

I think there is more likely some truth to this than just standard rumour-mill stuff unfortunately. He's the one player I'd be desperate to keep.
