Strictly speaking that's not correct, of course. He used the the promise or expectation of fans' future season ticket money to pay of LBG; he bought the Club or even more correctly the majority share holding in it, for £1 Cash. Nonetheless the point is well made; but as Zappa says highly unlikley he'll deliver because if he does he looses control of the situation. Agree with both of you.
