As the more subtle suggestions of people that work in the financial areas like to make. As I've said before, just live with it, instead of trying make out my views are irrelevant. Utter nonsense. Where is ANYONE making out your views are irrelevant ? Instead of playing the victim how about you engage in meaningful debate ? You are a socialist, right ? How about going onto the Bluenose Lounge and creating a thread to discuss it ? What version of political views would that be then Dutchy? Just curious, since there's definitely no party line on the forum. We all have different opinions. Sometimes some of us agree, but often we don't. If you can explain what you mean maybe it'll make more sense. I've been told to shut up with my anti business posts and you may not be able to read every post, I can assuse you I've had more than one mocking my socialist views. Just because someone may be an accountant, doesn't mean they know anything more than anyone else on this site about our present plight. I think capitalism is a destroyer and not the builder that most claim, here and in society in general and I've said it before, if you want to censor my opinions, you'll have to block me from the site. Because my opinion is just as important as some tax accountant employed every Jan/Feb to explain the diffirence between avoidance/evasion. I doubt if people are 'mocking your views'. Nobody wants to censor your opinion, but if you're asked multiple times to stay on topic in a Rangers Chat thread, yet keep drifting into rants about capitalism when you know your going off topic then you're just digging yourself into a hole. As craig suggested, start some capitalism vs socialism type threads in the Bluenose Lounge and it'll spark off some proper debate on the subject because there's people on Gersnet who're very interested in that type of discussion. I'm just as much of a socialist as anyone on here and more than most - but much as I'd love the ~Gers to be run according to good socialist principles, I realise that we live in the real world, where we're gonna have to accept the capitalists we know rather than the ones we dont know. Sure, the admins are like those private equity firms feeding off the chaos caused by the failure of capitalism, but for the sake of the club we love we should just accept that they are set to make a huge killing. Now, i suppose fan ownership would be what every Socialist wants; but just look at the failure of the RST and all those fans groups to agree. Do you really want some Stalinist group to take control just to get rid of the old order? You cannot build socialism in a capitalist sea. If we could get some sugar daddy to pump billions into us I'd take that in a heartbeat, even though it would be a microcosm of the system that has now outlived its usefulness. And Craig - I actually appreciate the insight that you and Bluedell and others can bring to the debate; if we have to have a capitalist overlord then I'd like to know that we choose the right one.
