At first sight, this may appear to be a good thing, but already there's anti-Rangers sentiments about this as being a cover up. Folks seem to think that the SFA are trawling the books of all clubs in the hope that they will find a lot of bad practice, therefore letting Rangers off lightly.

Forgetting it would seem that it's the SPL that are investigating Rangers and not the SFA.

Maybe the SFA should be asking why the septic manager can get away with slagging off refs publicly with no case to answer. Or maybe they'd be better hurrying up talks to amalgamate the diffirent bodies, SPL, SFA and SFL?

I'm fairly sure the odd extra tenner has been handed to Stirling Albion players, but is this really the type of thing that the SFA should be concentrating on, mid-season. Seems a bit weird, and pointless to me.

Unless Regan is being political and responding to events as they happen. Is there no plan at the SFA.

Answers on the back of a used postage stamp.

Is this some kind of amnesty on non-contractual payments?

That's been a suggetion, leading to anti-Rangers accusations it's the reason it's been brought up. After watching that CH4 report about Rangers, it seems its open season on all of Scottish football, Rangers being the main culprits.

It says: "The clubs have until Friday 6 April to send details of any contracts made to present or former players that were not previously lodged with the SFA."

Does that mean that if they come forward, they'll be 'cleared'? So if they don't come forward how will they ever find out?
