There's next to no chance he's even a Rangers fan. Unfortunately crowd behaviour is Rangers responsibility when games are played at Ibrox, Rangers will be fined for a fan encroaching the field of play. IMO the Police and stewarding company should be asked to pay the fine as they are paid to prevent these occurrences. The polis are only there to take action if folks ignore directions from the stewards or there is a risk of disorder. It goes back a few years to when the polis wanted the Clubs to pay for ALL the cost of policing a game. The Clubs negotiated that they would pay for stewards, thus cutting down on the number of polis required.
