gisabeer 409
With news that the SFA now deem Craig Whyte unfit to own Rangers the Question has to be asked. Who was responsible for vetting him in the first place? Had they done their job properly last May we wouldnt be in the mess we find our selves now. does the Spl require checks too? Both organisations sit in judgement of Rangers with various charges against the club yet they are in it up to their necks. gross negligence is a charge i would hold against them. And they should be made accountable.
BlueMazza 0
We need some sort of statement from all the supporter groups, or to find a way to question it publicly, in the right manner
Danny 0
Hugh McDonald of the Herald claims the reason this wasn't done prior to his appointment is it takes time and is very expensive. Sorry, I don't really buy that. Whyte had been linked for months so there was plenty of time to investigate him and other interested parties. And there is no way it's taken 10 months to establish his 'credentials'. No, SFA just once again prove their incompetence, and do something in 'hindsight' when they should have done it prior to the takeover. Abysmally run outfit.
Yorkshire Bear 0
McDonald said it took time and was expensive. Nowhere near as expensive as what it has cost Rangers.

The SFA didn't come in to existence when Regan was appointed, there were others there ffs! And too expensive? So will next season be for other clubs when we don't travel. It's their job for fuck sake. Outrageous statement made.

bluebear54 0
If the SFA have deemed that they have a duty to investigate CW now, then they also had a duty prior to the takeover. There were warning signs enough, such as the disquiet of the Takeover Board. That they didn't investigate then is a clear neglect of duty. The present investigation is merely an attempt to cover arse.
