Danny 0 Posted March 9, 2012 Share Posted March 9, 2012 A quick recap shows Eck brought in about £30m from selling players and spent about £17m, but he brought in a LOT of free players which probably involved very significant signing fees. He spent 7M of the club's own money. And that's my point. He had very little to play with - the money which came in (Bar Boumsong) didn't go to buying new players.
