Now I don't know the story, but from that it looks like it only involved Bain personally. geo1873 0 Posted June 14, 2006 Share Posted June 14, 2006 An article has appeared in the L'Equipe newspaper in France today (Wednesday, 14 June) concerning a financial transaction between Rangers Chief Executive Martin Bain and Ranko Stojic. For the avoidance of doubt, I was made aware of this transaction in advance of it proceeding. It related to the purchase of a house in France by Martin Bain, which belonged to a player, Laurent Charvet, who was represented by Mr Stojic. I am satisfied that all matters were carried out in the correct manner. Koeman 0 Posted June 14, 2006 Author Share Posted June 14, 2006 Actually, to be fair to Murray, of course Im of the opinion that he has not defended us or the Clubs Name enough recently, I think the reason for this announcement today was because there has been some talk in France of Bain being investigated for illegal activity in the Transefer market, tapping up players, taking bungs etc so it looks like he has stopped it before it reaches the Scottish Mhedia and spreads like wildfire... 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
