It was noticeable how quickly and frequently that phrase "viable device" was used. If they had been charged with threatening behaviour, then they will be found guilty. I'm no expert in the law, but you can't possibley be found guilty for murder because you frighten somebody. I'm of the feeling that the charge is all wrong for them, especially given some of the evidence coming out just now. It's a bit like that Jambo guy that GOT OFF, as they whiners complain. He didn't get off, there was just no evidence for him to be found guilty of sectarian abuse. Was he not fined for common assult. How can someone be charged with attempt murder when no attempt was made (no detonator on the "bombs") on someones life? For example, Mr A stabs Mr B but Mr B pulls through therefore Mr A is charged with attempt murder. It's not as if the bomb exploded as Lennon opened the parcel and pulling through a few days later. It was just scare tactics by the accused. We'll soon find out what the verdict is after all the arguements, and more importantly, how the judge might want to interpret the law. Thus, in what way he may direct the jury. Is it a jury case??
