In fact he's not a guy you can rely on when the weather is sunny, the economy is booming, Rangers aren't in crisis and everything is hunky dory. I literally did not see the shirker so many claim he was. I remember that rainy awful night in Falkirk when we were struggling, 0-0 it was. Howling wind, and the team was having a nightmare. I think it was under PLG. Tommy came on and lifted us - showed more attacking intent in his 25 minute cameo than the whole team had. I remember in particular he got slammed against the ad hoardings. Barely even dusted himself off, just got up and on with it. I remember him bulldozing through Balde and then scoring for the 3-1 OF at Ibrox. Not a character assassination, more like a humorous dig at him for what myself, and many other people, remember his one main flaw - not turning up in every game and often looking disinterested. I thought that was why we sold him and why many were not sorry to see him go.
