Is it time to revisit the subject of selling stadium naming rights?

Loved the mention the other day - 'I'brox....from apple....thats genius and really should be looked at.

 

If it makes a buck then I dont mind if its changed...it will still always be Ibrox. Not sure how much newcastle made changing to sports direct arena but 99% of their fans still call it St James'

Orange@Ibrox Stadium sold for 3mill a year. :bouncy:

 

Problem is I don't think we would get anywhere near that kind of money.

 

You could rename the Govan after the sponsor paint it orange and I would then sit in the The Orange Front. :thup:

Upton Park.

St James Park.

 

Examples of the fact that fans will call it whatever they want regardless of any name change. Get some company to pay a fortune to have it named. The press can continually refer to it as the Comapny X Ibrox stadium and the fans will still just call it Ibrox. So dont see the issue. Stupid not to do it if its an option.
