More bad news in today's Record - Whyte's lawyers not cooperating

Recommended Posts

When reading that I actually started to wonder who of the administrators /-' team is in constant talk to the media about this. I would assume that they do not talk to the media aside from press announcements because of confidental stuff is going on, which will later be made public though. (And since - from the administrator's ooint of view - it can't be in the public interest of Rangers to spill these beans, why would they do it?) Whyte's lawyers will not talk about it to anyone, so where does the Record get this from?

It will be the usual Rhebel source, Mr Guesswork and Mrs Make it up as we go along.

The Rhebel obviously thinks its taking to long to get the full story so it must be CW lawyers or it could be The Amazing Blue Knights on their white chargers ( fhucking cringworthy ) leaking stuff to get the takeover ball rolling a bit quicker. Whoever it is theres more leaks at Rangers than a bloody colander.

The administrators come out and say things are positive with the club. The gutter press couldn't possibly have that so out comes the rumour and innuendo, these people are trying to set the tone and keep the fans whipped into a frenzy....to sell more papers. Sad that it still works in this day and age.

How much will anyone at Ibrox know about what the administrators are doing? I imagine that they will have their own staff who will be dealing with everything connected with the administration, such as tracking down the money, while Rangers staff will be getting on with the day to day business of running the club. I'm not sure the Club's own staff will be told very much about the progress or otherwise of the administration.

What gets me is that most of this information is coming from the Daily Record. The very newspaper that everyone on here was discounting as publishing non-credible information not so long ago. Make your minds up people, they are either scumbags or they are not. They can't be both.

Maybe some of the stuff they print is true, but they are definitely exaggerating a lot of it. That coupled with tie'ing links up that don't exist just to create a story. (See the ex-Portsmouth interest in Rangers story.. no quotes from the man who has since categorically denied these claims. The Record basically decided this interest was there because they both had a tax case in common).

Let the relevant authorities on these subjects tell us the information directly before we frenzy.
