stewarty 2,118
But I'm still struggling to see what those skills are? Well, we know he has experience in football, in the media, as a Chief Executive, as an agent, and in running other businesses. I'm sure he's acquired a number of skills along the way. My argument being, that whatever they are, Whyte has basically used him as a puppet to appease the fans and to put on the appearance of professionalism and credibility. The interview with him that was on SSN the other day said it all for me. Whyte has been keeping him as much in the dark as everyone else.
bluebear54 0
There's been talk of patsies in references to others. I do think that GS has been made a big patsy in all of this. Think he was brought on board to add "Rangers Cred" to the Club structure. I feel sorry for him.
Guest Dutchy
I agree that GS deserves some syphathy, but he's still just a figure head in the Whyte regime and his wages could be a big saving for the club if he were to leave his post now. We won't be signing anyone now anyway, so that's more reason for him to pack up his bags and return to Radio Scotland as a pundit. Then, he could serve Rangers better by hopefully calming down a bit all the negativity against Rangers.
