Summary of Minutes- Assembly and CW

Recommended Posts

We are a long way from the end of this chapter in our history, IMO things will get a lot worse before they get better.

But surely it is better we go down that road knowing the truth, the whole truth no matter who it hurts.

Everything should be up for scrutiny, from DM to CW.

It must be better for Rangers in the long run.

Im not sure that this is fair. All the Assembly guys can do is ask the questions and report back on what was said.

Perhaps the questions were not as probing as they could have been but that's just down to them not having a detailed financial knowledge and not because they wanted to give CW an easy ride.

I don't agree.

The Chairman confirmed the borrowing was over a three-year period and was secured against one of his companies and not Rangers Football Club.

You don't need financial knowledge to ask which company.

It is the questions people will not answer that are the most interesting.

As I said all so civilized.

He's confirmed there that win or lose the tax case, that decision will inevitably lead to appeals which means there's no quick resolution in sight. So does that mean he might be looking to force the issue by going in to administration before that even happens? He's obviously planned for all eventualities from the start and gone in to this with his eyes open, so I'm guessing this would be one option he'd have considered?
