I didn't force transfer - Jelavic

Recommended Posts

Dont know if this has been posted already, apologies if it has, but Jela is disputing CW's claims that he was a player "who no longer wants to be at Ibrox"

He never forced his transfer, he spoke with McCoist and said to him "if the president wants me to stay, I'll stay" Seems CW is not being 100% with the truth, no changes there then.

Someone is obviously not telling the truth, but i'm past caring. He's gone and we got decent money we badly need for him. This season even though he is our top scorer you could see his heart was not in it like it was when he first came to us and he was missing lots of sitters, important ones at that in europe and the SPL.

Good luck to him but I won't be watching out for the Everton result every week although i'm sure it will be posted on here by some :)

No offence 54 but Jela is talking out his arse he wanted his move to the EPL.

Agree with your statement GA but if Jela wanted to stay and fight for the title but had information that he was going to be punted in January then it's no wonder his heart wasn't in it.

He could always have said no if he did want to stay but he didn't and said the EPL was his dream many a time.

That statement in bold is a whole lot different from saying "I want to stay".

Just to put a slightly different slant on this... plausible but by no means factual.... BOTH parties could be RIGHT..

Consider Jelavic had said "I want to move to Everton, but if the President wants me to stay, I'll stay"....... not unreasonable ?

It could also be said then that if Jelavic had said "I want to stay, but the President wants to sell me" then that compares with the original statement.

Ali Russle has just come out with a statement saying that it's rubbish to suggest Jelavic was forced out.

Semantics, and more semantics. He's off, that's that!
