Out -

 

Bendiksen - released

Cole - loan to Jags

Fleck - loan to Blackpool

Hutton - loan to Pars

Jelavic - Sold to Everton for £5m to £7m

McMillan - Sold (or released?) to Pars

Naismith (Kal) - loan to Jags

Ortiz - loan to Almeria

Weir - released

 

In-

 

Celik - only have to pay small compensation fee

 

+ some bird for one of the ladies teams.

I'd take the Ness one out Zappa until confirmed - primarily as that is just conjecture right now and makes this thread similar to the rumours one. Jelavic's is pretty much done and dusted.

 

That really is a sorry sight. So we started the season with a threadbare squad.... we brought a few players in during the summer window to strengthen the squad..... and now we thin it out again. The big difference is that we have thinned it out by, primarily, selling our best striker at a time when we have hardly any striking options.

 

6-4-0 might actually be a viable option for us, sadly :(

David Healy must be loving this. He is now the only recognised, fit striker we have. If he has a "pay as you play" element to his contract he can now take it to the bank.

 

I simply cannot believe that we have ONE fit striker at the club. Incredible for a club of our standing. Even with fit strikers we would only have Healy, Lafferty and then Hemmings. I consider Naismith to be more of a midfielder although recognise he can play striker too.

 

That is appalling planning of your squad IMO.
