Just listening to RR,first time for months I've tuned in,anyway big DJ said there is more to come in from tomorrows DR and maybe that's why CW hasn't said anything about getting his lawyers onto them?,I know I know,but I'm only quoting what he said.

Why would HMRC show an ex-director documents/communications between 2 companies that he has no connection with ie Wavetower & Ticketus??? Sounds a wee bit dubious to me.

 

 

Because the transactions apparently relate to a period when he was a Director of the Club.

 

So it is relevant to show him the documents and to ask him if he had any knowledge of the arrangements and for his comments.

To me there are two big questions arising from this story:

 

1. If the £24M wasn't used to finance the repayment to LBG, what was or is it it being used for?
   
2. If we have mortgaged approx 75% of season ticket money for the next 3 seasons what are we going to use for working capital up 2015?

Yes, but as BD said, to what extent were they doing it? Mortgaging 4 years of the family silver either to pay this year's bills or worse still to buy the Club seems like a desperately bad situation to me.

I guess I'm as shell-shocked as most and need time to take this all in.

However, one thing that is being missed is the timing (last day of transfer window) of the DR exposé. I for one don't see that as pure coincidence. Given Timmy's pre-knowledge, I see it as nothing short of premeditated sabotage.

Also, given a 5 pager yesterday and supposedly a 7 pager tomorrow, I see the whole thing as grotesquely out of proportion.

This kind of media attention wasn't even given to RBS - and there were real financial journalists investigating that.

This all seems so surreal.

Now, I'm worried for Rangers, but don't think the fan base will ever disappear. However, as far as things look at present, we may between a rock and a hard place.

But there certainly seems to be a lck of sympathy out there. Schadenfreude in abundance, but sympathy for the fans?

I think securing a short-term loan for a few months till ST money pours in is quite commonplace, but longer term, over several years? That sounds like very bad news to me. I think the two questions you put forward in post #53 are extremely important BH.
