Phew. More than the goals, the performance was pleasing. That said, when McCulloch came on both he and Davis were taking the ball from the CB's and they were actually BEHIND the CB's. That isnt where I would want my CM's playing when in possession.

 

BTW, if you take a look at our bench today we are badly lacking in depth. And I know he didnt play for long today but McCulloch is definitely past it at this level.

McCulloch was total mince when he came on. God help us if Edu is out for any length of time. Surely all the Aluko doubters are starting to change their mind. Healy was also crap! He stopped a certain goal, done nothing but run offside and was just enormously lucky to get his goal. I suppose they all count though.

Let's enjoy this but not get carried away with it as Hibs are a total disaster area. What has happened to them?

Petrie is their chief exc. Everytime the fans gather outside Easter Road and demand the board must go, he sacks the manager and brings in the cheap option. Pat Fenlon is surely out of his depth, especially when Jimmy Calderwood is available and knows the Scottish game very well indeed, as well as having a good Dutch grounding.

 

Hibs have very little debt and a great stadium, but if Petrie keeps selling all the managers best players, they'll win very little and the crowds will drop. Which is what is happening in a 25,000 stadium.
