If BBC Scotland are institutionally biased

Recommended Posts

Two stories they couldn't hide Danny AVB was asked the question and he answered. If you compare the reporting in the whole sectarian singing I've never seen Celtic accused of sectarian chanting it's always illicit, never seen one story about sec/illicit singing or the OBB bill being broadcast from outside Parkhead, many from outside Ibrox. Of course you have the infamous bouncing ball karaoke style for Rangers songs on the news.

When we have a bouncing ball for "Go Home Ya Huns" or "up the ra" then I might agree with you.

I have no doubt there are individuals in the BBC who don't like Rangers...............

However, I've witnessed many positive Rangers stories on the BBC (only yesterday they reported AVB saying we'd win the league),

Seemingly the reporter that asked him the question was wearing a Celtic lapel pin and a green bunnet......:whistling::P:fish:

Your post itself is beyond fallacious given you made assumptions about my stance based on a lack of response. Did you court the idea I've only just read the further responses? Apparently you didn't.

Yep, you have a point actually. Whilst BD's post referred to the programme being from '03 he didn't link that to "campaign" suggested by others and refuted by you starting much after this point. I made that connection in my head but it may not have been intended by BD and hence not assumed by yourself.

And admittedly Frankie posted after your initial response.

When we played FC Zeta in Podgorica, Barry Ferguson was interviewed at pitch-side by Kheredine Idessane who was wearing and I kid you not an official BBC Celtic v Porto, Seville 21/05/2003 commemorative Polo Shirt.

I attended that match.

I stood and watched with a dozen other Bears as Kheredine Idessane, BBC Radio Scotland commentator, John Barnes, and their Producer, Martin Bradford walked around the track; all replete in their BBC Scotland UEFA Cup Final 2003 Sellik/Porto polo shirts. It was a piece of uneccessary triumphalism.

I think the campaign is not at the behest of the BBC, but the catholic church, it's just the many septic supporters working for BBC Scotland show their true colours when supposedly talking Rangers.

We've not heard much from the church as of late which forces me to ask what was said between Alex Salmond and the bishop he invited to a closed doors meeting while forcing through an unpopular law on Offensive Behaviour. Who knows what was said there? It could have been, don't worry, we'll look after you, or it could have been, shut it bis, we're the law makers.

It certainly puts paid to the theory that catholics are under represented in mainstream jobs in Scotland, but the ones that move out of Scotland like to carry the myth on by saying there is no opportunity for catholics in Scotland.

I certainly hope that Salmond told the bis the errors of his way and what utter shite he was talking.

Salmond is too canny a polotician to burn his bridges with the RC church, he probably gave an assurance to the Bishop that their aparthied schooling would not be hindered under an SNP administration. More tea vicar, excuse me.
