If BBC Scotland are institutionally biased

Recommended Posts

Against us, as some believe, including Craig Whyte, why did they dedicate an entire series to our club and its youth system? I mean Blue Heaven, of course, and I've never seen anything similar about Celtic, which tbh has probably spawned more players than ours has.

Just a thought.

Has it?

And did these accusations start around the same time as Blue Heaven was made? Just a thought.

Blue Heaven spent as much if not more time on our failed youth talent than it did our success stories. Some of it was pretty bloody embarassing tbh. Manky old caravans in back gardens etc.

Blue Heaven was made independently of the BBC.

It was made for the BBC and with full permission by Rangers with full access to our facilities. You make it sound like they just bought the rights to show it.

The fact that they showed a documentary in 2003 doesn't prove or disprove anything. One needs to look at all the evidence before making a decision.

I didn't say it proved or disproved anything, I was just curious as to why they'd dedicate an entire series to Rangers and our youth system when they were supposedly so biased against us.

I hear nothing but complaints on our forums about our inept youth system, and how much better Celtic's has been over the years.

Sorry, accusations from whom about whom?

Just a thought.

Not a very clear one.

Some of it was sad, more than embarrassing. Football is a harsh business, and I recall it spent a shotload of time discussing our success stories. But yes, it focused on the failures too, which was only fair. I imagine some of our fans would have considered it a moonbeams propaganda mission had it only focused on the successes.

Indeed, but my point was that it clearly wasn't a "moonbeams" propaganda mission, far from it in fact!
