RSA Meeting With Whyte

Recommended Posts

What an abomination we have become. And whilst Whyte doesnt seem to be the knight in shining armour we hoped for.... it shouldnt be forgotten that much of the malaise and mess has come from SDM.

Absolutely, Murray was the one who bludgeoned us with a blunt instrument (EBT's) leaving us clinging on to a life support system but Whyte will be the one who flicks the switch and pulls the plug out of the socket without so much as a hint of a tear.

The shareholders circular uses the term "insolvency event" liquidation is most certainly an "insolvency event".

Not necessarily forlans. Insolvency could still also mean an administration. Companies can be technically insolvent but can trade out of them ala an administration.

If I was more cynical I would almost suggest that it has been a carefully orchestrated plan......

I know I've mentioned this before, but another thing that's worth noting while we're discussing what Whyte's plans might have always been... His spiffing legal eagle Gary Withey is a PLUS market company insolvency expert.

Liquidation would mean that Rangers would not exist as we know it. Basically the club would die, and then re-form (as far as I am aware), which essentially would freeze all of the club's history - that would NOT go down well....

No, it certainly would not go down well, but if he liquidates the club he'll do a vanishing act.

Corporate insolvency experts are not solely entrusted with liquidating companies. They will also be entrusted with saving companies from such a fate too. You could be correct with your reading between the lines but equally you could be wrong.

Take a look at Whyte's track record there's absolutely nothing there to suggest he could/would save RFC, however there's ample evidence of him going down the liquidation route.

I suggested this over on RM, but should have checked this site out first on this issue. Its clear to me that the people getting in front of him are not willing to ask the real testing questions. We should have guys like yourself Bluedell and other clued up supporters/investors in a room and asking the searching questions that will either put our collective minds at rest or really throw shite at the fan. As things stand, it appears that the main questions we are asking are about backing the fans, tunnel spats and police/media conspiracies.

Out of curiosity, have you been offered or looked to create a chance to do such a thing BD?
