Leggoland - LAWWELL'S EXEMPLARY CELTIC LIE

Recommended Posts

As I said over at FF ... you can go back 20 years, 10 years, 5 years, one year or even one week to see what sort of lies they spout ... as there is TV and video evidence from Sky, ESPN, Setanta and whatnot. It is all there and you do not need to delve into Double Standards to find this. Mind you, if you have half a brain and can use a computer, you will finds tons of evidence on youtube. The amount of ignorance required here is staggering.

But it is deliberate ignorance mate.

It's not difficulty to point out the evidence to MSPs, journos and football authorities but they, to a man, ignore it.

Thus, what we have is a situation where millions of pounds are thrown at small charities while those with the real power to remove it sit on their hands. It's shameful!

The Scotsman did mention previous events:

Earlier this month, the SPL decided to take no action against Celtic after investigating a report of pro-IRA chanting during the match against Hibs at Parkhead on 29 October. The SPL stated that it was not in dispute that “a small number of Celtic fans engaged in singing and chanting in support of the IRA” but ruled the club had taken “all reasonably practicable steps” to prevent them.

Uefa have taken a harder line on an issue which Lennon has stated could “tarnish the reputation” of his club in Europe.

It is the fourth time Celtic have been punished by Uefa for the conduct of their spectators within the past five years, although the first for any form of chanting.

In March 2007, the club received a nominal £420 fine for two incidents of plastic bottles being thrown towards the pitch at the San Siro Stadium during a Champions League match against AC Milan.

Seven months later, Celtic were found guilty of improper conduct by supporters and lack of organisation during another Champions League game against Milan at Parkhead which saw one fan enter the pitch and confront visiting goalkeeper Dida. Celtic were fined £25,000 on that occasion, half of the amount suspended for a two-year probationary period, while Dida received a two-match suspension for unsporting behaviour for reacting theatrically to the incident.

In November 2008, a supporter was able to invade the pitch once more during Celtic’s home Champions League match against Manchester United. Uefa found Celtic guilty of improper conduct again, with a late kick-off to the match also cited as reason for the punishment, and fined them £42,400.

On ra Sellik's 2003 UEFA cup run that culminated in defeat at the hands of Porto, ra Bhoys were moral winners because they were recipients of two awards from UEFA and FIFA reference good behaviour from those IRA chanting jolly craicsters. Since, we have NOT heard the end ot it, iot's wheeled out continually. They received both awards because of persistant lobbying from the Republic of Ireland's reps on both bodies.

Let's look at their good behaviour during the run to Suvul.

At Blackburn's Ewood Park, there was an attempted storming of the gates by the several hundred ticketless Yahoos left outside. This resulted in 27 Banning Orders being issued. To this day, that number remains a British record for Banning Orders on a single match.

At Celta Vigo, after the game where they went through on away goals, there was a riot in the airport. The then Chairman of the club, Brian Quinn's son, Adrian was pictured in a green'n'grey hooped tank top, his dyed blond hair streaked with blood. Ra Herald had the front page spread, poor Sellik supporters were protecting a disabled wheel chair bound fan from the baton wielding Polis. The truth was something different, Yahoos did not want to queue to be processed, started their IRA battle anthems, the Gardia Civil took exception to ETA's soul mates and trainers, ............. well, karma is a bitch.

Still at the same game, remember the plane delayed because of the riots until the next day? It was diverted to Cardiff. Again, ra Herald and BBC Scotland ran interference, apparently a fan was caught smoking in the toilets and the airline over-reacted. Five months later, 4 Yahoos pled guilty to sexual assault(putting their hands up the skirts of hostess's) at Cardiff court.

In Stutgart, a Yahoo was deliberately knocked down by a motor vehicle in a pre-determined gangland hit. In Porto, a Yahoo stabbed a fellow Yahoo, in Liverpool, there were another 8 banning orders, in ............................................................

It's the trouble with leadership in general these days in this country.

I've had reason to make some complaints about how I've been treated by certain businesses, the medical profession and local government. In all cases you have to complain to the organization set-up for complaing, which gives you short shrift and dissmisses anything you have to say. You then move up the scale to the upper echelons, where you have even less chance of a fair hearing.

Lying, cheating and corruption is the way in this shitehole so-called democracy we live in, and our politicians still seem to be able to tell us that what they say will work, when it's obvious it doesn't.

Politicians, journalists and businessmen, all shysters! Everyone of them.
