GovanAllan 0
Why the arguements? The guy who knows the rules, has been a referee for how many years, had the best view in the house [ including tv cameras], said penalty kick. Heres hoping after getting hung out to dry by the SFA the next soft pen decision he has to make is for Celtic and he waves it away.

I actually hope he would give it to them, just to prove the bias at the SFA
Gazza_8 233
Thanks, I think it matters when a panel who were very probably not as close to the incident can overturn the man's decision who was paid to make the decision. Because Scottish refs are shit.
der Berliner 4,050
And thus the witch-hunt starts, Lisa Gray names her article ... Rangers diver Aluko backed by Ally Of course, you would want to know how close she is with our gaffer, naming him with only his first name.
khan 0
Because Scottish refs are shit. Ally thought the ref had an excellent game, as did the assessor in the stands, we have an ex ref who couldn't sit straight in bed, a Threave Rovers director and a guy from schools football on a panel saying different, why don't we just get rid of all these shit Scottish refs, that's right without them there is no game.
juffery 0
IMHO it was a dive and the real argument is whether it was worth the equivalent of a yellow card or a 2 match ban. Perhaps the reason that it is the latter is that he successfully conned the ref, if he hadn't the yellow card suffices. But surely that isn't Aluko's problem. If anyone should be punished for him successfully conning the ref it should be the ref for making that mistake. Whether he gets away with it during the game or not, his actions are the same, thereafter it's the ref's problem.
juffery 0
And another thing - should a player who commits a clear foul to give away a penalty but attempts to persuade the ref not to give it now be held up as someone trying to con a ref?
