I don't know if it's just me, but I think ditching the Thanks button is a mistake. It's a feature many of us on the forum used a lot. What we had before the discussion to change it wasn't actually broken and what we've ended up with is less useful than what we had in the first place in my opinion.

It's a toughie. How about a button called 'like'. I feel the forum won't all agree on the same thing.

I'm with the cop on this one.

 

Agree and thanks are quite different and you don't quite know which one is adroit enough.

 

Like is pretty simple and both thanks and agrees in one. But tbh I feel there should be a dislike button too as the absence of one on Facebook, for example, drives me mad.

I miss the thanks button, but at the same time I don't think it covers it when I agree with a post.

I thank people for posting stuff that I completely disagree with just purely for their opinion (& not sarcasm) & then I post a message as to why I disagree.

With the Agree button I can click agree & then not have to post the same thing again which ends in clogging up the thread.

 

I think the issue with the old buttons was the wording, Groans just didn't fit, imho.
